Monotypes of Middle-East

This collection takes inspiration from a period spent living in the middle east, mainly Qatar and a bit of Oman, reflecting on the architecture, culture and the local customs. Works include important landmarks, markets, mosques as well as  some of the most unusual and fascinating cloths hung for shade. The cloth shades together with thin water streams on the side of the buildings were designed to create a cooling breeze  and shade among the ornate arched buildings.
